„Maisto banko“ organizatoriai teigia, jog šalyje šiųmetė akcija išsiskyrė tuo, kad joje buvo paaukota daugiau brangesnių maisto produktų nei ankstesnėse.
Ukmergėje akcija vyko didžiuosiuose prekybos centruose. Dalyvavo septynios organizacijos.
Rajono savivaldybės Vaiko teisių apsaugos ir socialinės paramos skyriaus Socialinės paramos administravimo poskyrio vyriausioji specialistė Eglė Štarienė pasakojo, kad mūsų mieste priešvelykinė akcija iš ankstesnių ypatingai neišsiskyrė.
„Buvo aukojami panašūs produktai, kaip ir kasmet – miltai, kruopos, aliejus, arbata, cukrus“, – teigia pašnekovė.
Šiemet Ukmergėje maisto produktų surinkta 5008 vienetai, pernai rudenį – 5033. Šį savaitgalį „Maisto banko“ akcijoje dalyvavo 145 savanoriai. Pernai jų buvo 112.
